Olen tässä kohtapuoliin lähdössä kohti Galleria Beckeriä, jossa olen talkoohommissa ainakin iltapäivään saakka, ehkä myös sitten illalla jälleen (kun olen ensin käynyt syömässä). Aamulla olen ehtinyt jo piirrellä kukan terälehtiä ekstraohuella pigmenttimustekynällä hentoisella otteella: olen jatkanut vesiväriluonnosten sivutuotteena syntynyttä työtä, jota olen tehnyt valokuvauksen ohella koko viikon. Katsotaan nyt, mitä tästä tulee, vai tuleeko mitään.
Ja kyllä: kuvata voi niin paljon, että kameralaukaisinta painavaan sormeen voi tulla rakko. (Tai ehkä se on vain merkki siitä, etten ole tehnyt tarpeeksi töitä - eikö se niin ole, että työhön tottumattomiin käsiin ne rakot tuppaavat tulla?)

I'm soon off to Gallery Becker, where I will be working this afternoon, and possibly also at the evening (after having my late lunch break). This morning I started drawing flower petals with an extrafine archival pigment ink pen with a delicate touch: I have continued the sideproduct project of my aquarelle sketches, which I have made (together with photographing) all week. Time will show, what this will be, if anything at all.
And yes: it is possible to take so many photos that you can have a blister in your shutter-release button pressing finger. (Or maybe that's just a sign of not working enough normally - isn't it so, that the blisters happen for people who haven't used to working?)
