Hinnan nousu // The Increase in Prices

Materiaalikustannusten nousun vuoksi joudun nostamaan "Ihmisiä saarillaan" -sarjan vedosten hintoja kympillä ylöspäin, eli 70 eurosta 80 euroon. Hinnan nousu koskee kaikkia sarjan vedoksia. Uusi hinta on merkitty jo nettisivuilleni, mutta tulee voimaan vasta 1.6. - eli toukokuun ajan on vielä voimassa vanha hinta 70e sekä teoksia myyvissä gallerioissa että minulta tilattaessa (tilaukset: paivi.hintsanen@coloria.net). Muut teossarjojen hinnat eivät näillä näkymin ole nousemassa, mutta Ihmisiä saarillaan -sarjan teoshinnat olen alkujaankin määrittänyt niin mataliksi, että materiaalikustannusten nousu uhkaa jättää hommat plus-miinus-nollan tasolle. (Ja jos materiaalihinnat nousevat samaa vauhtia ylöspäin kuin alkuvuonna ovat nousseet, niin voi olla, että vielä pieni hinnan nousu tulee syksylläkin, mutta hinta 80e pysyy ainakin elokuun 2016 loppuun.)

Due to the rising costs of materials I have to rise the price of the 'People On Their Islands' prints (all prints of the series) with 10 euros, from 70 euros to 80 euros. The new price is already seen on my web page, but actually it will take place from June 1 on - in May you can still purchase prints for the 'old' price of 70e, both from the galleries and from me (orders: paivi.hintsanen@coloria.net). It seems that the prices of other print series won't be increasing in near future; I have originally set the price of 'People On Their Islands' series prints so low that increases in material costs are threatening the profit margin, so that's why this series. (And, if the material cost prices will continue rising, it could be, that there will be a small increase in prices again in autumn, but the price of 80 euros will be valid at least until the end of August 2016.)
