Viime viikolla tapahtui montakin ikävää asiaa, joista viimeisimpänä (vaikkakaan ei suurimpana) torstaina hajonnut printterini. Olin juuri tekemässä uusia kuvia asiakkaalle, joka oli tulossa tapaamaan seuraavana päivänä - tekemättä jäi. Seuraavaksi listalla oli tämän vuoden Random Prints -projektini, jonka pariin pääsemistä olen odottanut kuin kuuta nousevaa. Torstai-ilta kului paniikissa, perjantai puolestaan sen seikan hiljaisessa hyväksymisessä, etten ehdi tehdä mitään printterilleni ajoissa. Onneksi en ihan heti törmännyt tiiliseinään, toinenkin mahdollisuus on. Kohta olen menossa Ratamon Digilabiin kokeilemaan, onnistuisiko sarjan tekeminen siellä. Tällä tuurilla ja rajatulla toiminta-ajalla en uskalla oikein toivoa mitään. Joten jännittää saa vielä pari tuntia.

Last week many unhappy things happened, the latest (but not the biggest) of them being my printer braking down on last Thursday. I was just about to print new miniprints for a client, who came to meet me the next day - wasn't able to do it. The next printing project on the list was my Random Prints project, which I have anxiously waited to start. I was panicking the whole Thursday evening, on Friday I somehow accepted the fact, that my printer problem cannot be fixed early enough. I was lucky not to burst straight to the brick wall, there is still another possibility to print. Soon I'll be heading to Ratamo Digilab to test, if I could print the series there. With this luck and the exhausting time limit I really can't hope much. So, I'll have to just try to keep my fingers crossed still a few hours.
